Sevda Abaci-Magotch

Studio Director

Sevda Abaci-Magotch earned her Associates degree in Humanities and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Drama from New York University. She holds a law degree from Rutgers School of Law and was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1991. Sevda's passion for the arts was sparked at the age of four when she attended her first Broadway show. Since then, she has been involved in the production of numerous plays and musicals and has attended hundreds of productions in countless venues from community theatre to Broadway. Sevda's greatest desire is to pass her love and appreciation for the arts to children and to inspire them to always live their dreams.

 

Amanda Magotch Cain

Studio Director/Artistic Director/Instructor/

X-Team Choreographer

Amanda entered the doors of her first dance studio at the age of four and hasn’t stopped dancing since. She came alive on the stage at the age of seven when she began dancing competitively. Since then, Amanda has achieved enormous regional and national success in the competitive circuit. As a dancer and performer specializing in lyrical, ballet, jazz, musical theatre, and acro-dance, she has performed on numerous stages and venues throughout the country including Walt Disney World, South Street Seaport, Six Flags, Paper Mill Playhouse, Madison Square Garden, John Harms Center for the Performing Arts and Universal Studios. Amanda was accepted into the School of American Ballet's summer program on scholarship at the age of 9. She began attaining recognition in the competition dance world at the age of ten when she was named Junior Miss Footloose and throughout her competitive career she has won numerous titles including Junior Miss Nexstar, Junior Miss Star Systems, Junior Miss Superstar, Junior Miss Dance Rave, Teen Miss Footloose, Teen Miss Beyond the Stars, Judges Choice Awards, Broadway Bound Award, Best Performance Award, 1st Overall Soloist, 1st Overall Duet/Trio, several photogenic awards and placements in the Top 5 at both regional and national competitions. When Amanda wasn't competing, she was thrilled to be working as a model for Capezio Dancewear. She has trained with many master teachers including Shelia Barker, Mia Michaels and Tyce Diorio to name just a few. Amanda has built an excellent reputation as a dance instructor and choreographer. Amanda's choreography has earned a multitude of choreography awards on both a Regional and National level! Her dances have won numerous 1st Overall placements, Entertainment Awards, Impact Awards, Dance Off Championships, and the Stellar Award, which is the highest scoring routine of the competition. Amanda's students have landed spots on the Temple University, the University of Delaware, the University of Maryland, UMass Amherst, Rowan University and Salve Regina University Dance Teams! Miss Amanda earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Mathematics with a concentration in Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Amanda's goal is to inspire students to be the best they can be, and "dance from your heart with JOY!". It is an absolute dream come true for Amanda to be able to share her love, passion, and contagious enthusiasm for dance as the owner of Amanda's DanceXtensions!

Nick Lundquist

Acro/Dance Instructor

ACROBATIC ARTS CERTIFIED

Nick started his dance training at an early age in California and was awarded a full scholarship to Pacific Northwest Ballet. As a member of a competition dance team, he received numerous awards regionally and nationally in solos and group routines. Nick has performed as a dancer, acrobat and aerial artist on many cruises for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and has entertained audiences around the world with his energetic dance style. While working professionally in California, Nick was signed with DDO Artists Agency. His professional accomplishments also include dancing in the Rose Parade, performing for  a Sketchers Industrial, and the National Tour of Moving Out choreographed by Twyla Tharp. Nick has been offered leading roles to perform for Tokyo Disney, Disneyland, and Cirque Du Soleil in Las Vegas. He has trained with choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Mandy Moore, and Terri Best to name a few.  Nick's choreography has won numerous regional and national Overall, Entertainment, Acro Excellence Awards, and Choreography awards. Nick is thrilled to be teaching various levels of students at ADXT!​​

Camila Rodrigues

Ballet/Pointe Instructor

Camila is originally from Volta Redonda, Brazil. Camila is a professional ballet dancer graduated from Escola Estadual de Dança Maria Olenewa (the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Theater Ballet School) and studied two years with the world known Nora Esteves at Centro de Movimento Deborah Colker, both in Rio de Janeiro – Brazil. She also graduated from Joffrey Ballet School in New York City and performed with the Corpo de Baile do Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and in the United States she has performed with companies such as Nashville Ballet, Connecticut Ballet, Joffrey Ballet Concert Group, Lotería Performing Arts and Ziriguidum. Camila won first place in the Semi Final in New York and in the Final in Canada at World Ballet Art Competition in 2016 and won “Best Interpretation of the Contemporary Compulsory” at Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition in New York in 2017. She also participated in short film and music videos, beside other projects. We are thrilled to have Miss Camila as part of our ADXT dance fam! Miss Camila is currently on tour as the lead in the US National Tour of An American In Paris!

Abigail Robinson

Ballet/Pointe Instructor

Abigail Robison is a professional ballet dancer with the New Jersey Ballet. Abigail has performed in company productions of George Balanchine’s Rubies, Who Cares?, Maria Kowroski’s Sleeping Beauty,George Tomal’s The Nutcracker, Martin Harvey’s Once Upon A Time, and her personal favorite, an original set choreography, Harrison Ball’s Purcell Suite with costumes designed by Zac Posen. With Purcell Suite she has had the opportunity to perform at prestigious events and theaters, such as Dance Against Cancer at Lincoln Center, Works and Process at The Guggenheim, and The Spring Festival at Kaatsbaan. 

Abigail spent most of her summers training with well known ballet companies such as Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet and received a full scholarship for Joffery's Pre Professional Ballet Intensive in New York City. Abigail was accepted to many other prestigious ballet companies including American Ballet Theatre NYC, Miami City Ballet and Houston Ballet. We are thrilled to have Abigail as part of our faculty!

Cici Crosby

Hip Hop/Acro/Dance Instructor/X-Team Choreographer

CiCi Crosby, a New Jersey native, graduated Montclair State University with a BFA in performance and choreography in May of 2021. In the same month, she had choreographed and premiered her first dance film titled “The Killer Series.” Beforehand, she had attended Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School and Complexity Dance Center where she furthered her studies in the company & competition dance worlds. With a wide range of knowledge in the dance & gymnastics fields, as well as equal passion for performing, teaching, and choreographing, she has enjoyed the honor of sharing her versatility with the youth of the dance world. Crosby has now been teaching and choreographing for the dancers of Q Dynamics Dance Company in the styles of contemporary, jazz, acro, modern, hip hop, pom/drill team, and recreational gymnastics since 2020 as well as coaching the Gantry competitive gymnastics team in Brooklyn, New York since 2022. She also had the privilege of dancing for the New York Riptide Lacrosse team in 2022 & 2023. Cici continues to pursue her performance, teaching, and choreography careers today. We are thrilled to have Miss Cici be a part of the ADXT dance family!

Antonio Hutasoit 

Hip Hop Instructor/X-Team Choreographer

Antonio Hutasoit was born and raised in Singapore before migrating to the United States. He began pursuing dance at the age of 18 years old. Focused on being versatile, he has trained in Animation, Commercial Hip Hop, Contemporary, Krump, Hip Hop, Popping, and the list goes on. Antonio is a pioneer in Animation as he developed the style known as Contemporary Animation. He has since appeared on TV Shows such as “So You Think You Can Dance” and “America’s Got Talent.” Antonio has also traveled throughout the U.S, competing, performing, teaching, and spreading his artistry. One of his more recent accomplishment is that he is one of the two New Jersey native dancers to ever perform as a featured act for a World of Dance Event! We are beyond excited to have Mr. Antonio teaching and doing choreography for us at ADXT!

Jessica Paolillo

Tap Instructor

Jess found her love for dance at the very young age of 1 ½ years old, and quickly started training in all styles. Growing up in Hillsborough, NJ she danced competitively from age 9 to 18  in tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and musical theater.

In high school Jess attended the Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School to study dance part time. There she was able to not only further her dance training, but also take classes such as choreography, stage lighting, and even got her Pilates certification through this program. Jess was also a part of the Tap Company at Vo Tech for 4 years, and was the manager of the company her senior year. 

Jess graduated from Montclair State University, with her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. She now works full time as a preschool teacher, and is working on obtaining her state issued teaching certification. Along with teaching preschool, Jess has also been teaching dance. Jess has a passion for dance and for teaching children!

Corbyn Sage

Grace, Groove & Rhythm/Social Media Manager

Corbyn Sage is a passionate dancer and actor, known for captivating audiences with dynamic performances and creative choreography. With a deep love for the arts, Corbyn has made a mark in the world of performance, appearing in award-winning films at the NJ Film Festival and a few national commercials.


In addition to her on-screen work, Corbyn has shared her talent being on the stage appearing in MPAC’s “Dedication to Jerome Robbins” and played many other roles in regional and community theater.  She also enjoys choreographing for numerous young productions of beloved musicals, including: The Addams Family, Chicago, and Seussical at SpotlightKids Company, inspiring the next generation of performers. With each project, she brings a unique blend of artistry and dedication, making every performance a memorable experience.


Whether on stage or behind the scenes, Corbyn Sage continues to push the boundaries of creativity, driven by a passion for storytelling through movement and expression.
